Challenging the Status Quo: Christie Cleveland, Freeletics
Neha speaks with Christie Cleveland, senior product manager at Freeletics, about challenging the status quo, being curious and self compassion.
Christie Cleveland feels the inherent tension between being a rebel and being a product manager, in which a big part of the job is getting everyone aligned and "on the bus." But that tension doesn't stop her from challenging the status quo when she thinks things could be better.
"Early on in my career, I would compromise. I didn't want to rock the boat. But I would get so upset at not doing what I thought was right or not challenging things....I just got so sick of compromising."
She says Dreammakers need to get really comfortable with rejection.

The Dreammakers did this all over a glass of wine: Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé
It's a light pink Champagne from a family winery that's been around since the 1800s. They're about time and quality over quantity or fast delivery. They spend time fermenting it more than a typical champagne house might and that gives it a lot of freshness. You can taste grapefruit peel, lemon, strawberries and raspberries. Christie called it "refreshing."
