How Purpose Drives Ideas: Tracey Milligan of Term Payments and The Milligan Foundation
Neha speaks with Tracey Milligan, Founder and CEO of Term Payments and Executive Director of The Milligan Foundation, about finding and committing to your purpose, being open to big ideas, and mind hacks to keep you going.
Tracey Milligan (@BigSisTracey) believes an abundant life should be accessible to all. And she fights for it. She is founder and CEO of Term Payments, a pioneer in online layaway, and founder and executive director of The Milligan Foundation, a relocation resource for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.
"I needed to come up with a business idea that's putting the mask on myself...that will provide me the financial resources to fund The Milligan Foundation so that I don't ever have to hear about someone dying because I didn't have money again." (17:55)

Neha and Tracey discuss:
- The purpose anchoring Tracey's non-traditional journey

- Why getting close to people who are where you wants to be is a strategy for success
- Tracey's Just Do It moments as an entrepreneur building a start up
- Mind hacks that fuel positivity, innovation, and purpose
The Dreammakers did this all over a glass of wine: Prunotto Barolo 2015.
It's the beautiful garnet color of a Pinot Noir but doesn't taste anything like it. Instead, expect great acidity and stewed, red fruit. Barolo comes from Piedmont in Italy and Nebbiolo grapes. This is one of Neha's go-to pairings with pizza and other Italian foods.
